For their 30th anniversary, Three 6 Mafia wanted to deliver a show that would honor their legacy while creating an unforgettable experience for fans at Coachella. The goal was to design a production that paid homage to their Memphis roots and elevated the performance with special guests and high energy stage design.
A Pyramid Built for Coachella
WKND HRS designed and produced a multi sensory pyramid stage build inspired by the iconic Memphis pyramid, a landmark tied closely to the group’s origin. The production layered in custom visuals, immersive lighting, and special effects that amplified the energy of the performance. To mark the occasion, Three 6 Mafia brought out surprise guests including MGK and Wiz Khalifa, creating a lineup that matched the scale of the anniversary.
A Festival Highlight Moment
The set went down as one of Coachella’s most talked about performances of the weekend. Fans experienced a tribute to the group’s roots reimagined through modern stagecraft, while the guest appearances created a cultural moment that cemented the show as a highlight of the festival.
