Gordo - Brooklyn Mirage

DJ Gordo set out to make a statement at Brooklyn Mirage with a show unlike anything the venue had ever hosted. For his record setting twelve hour set he wanted to capture a raw brutalist aesthetic with the energy of a Berlin Wall breaking moment. The goal was to transform the space into an unforgettable experience that matched both the scale of the performance and the intensity of his sound.

WKND HRS handled every aspect of the creative and production. We designed and built the full stage environment, including pyro effects both in the crowd and on towers, massive CO2 blasts, and a light cage that created an immersive structure around the audience. Our team developed all visual design, show content, and VJ programming, while also managing sound and production across the twelve hour experience. The result was a fully realized world that matched the brutalist theme while delivering the energy fans expect from Gordo.

The performance became the longest show ever staged at Brooklyn Mirage and set a new bar for scale and ambition at the venue. The production left a lasting impression on fans and positioned Gordo as an artist willing to push boundaries in both music and live experience.
